Our Church is Accessible

To enter the Church without climbing stairs, use the ramp that leads to the side door of the church facing Blaisdell Street. When you enter this door, Our Lady’s Chapel, where Adoration is held, is to your right. The entrance to the main church is to your left. There is an accessible restroom down the hall in the Sacristy.

The Parish Hall, also sometimes referred to as “the Lower Church” is located downstairs in the basement level of our church building).

For those who cannot climb stairs, we do have an elevator. The entrance of the elevator is adjacent to where you enter the main church from the Blaisdell Street ramp. When you are attending a Church event, please make sure to call the parish office or the event organizers, to let us know if you will need assistance to use the elevator, and we will make sure someone is available to show you where it is and how to operate it.

If you will be attending Mass and are not able to walk to receive Communion, please let the Presider (the priest) know before Mass begins, so that he or one of the Eucharistic Ministers can bring you Communion where you are seated.

There are handicap parking spaces located along Blaisdell Street adjacent to the side entrance ramp, and also in the back of the church and near the Rectory.

Whether you are in a wheelchair, use a walker or cane, or have any physical, cognitive, or mental health conditions that limit your ability to participate in the liturgy or in prayer and social events, please know you are a welcome and a cherished member of our parish family. Please inform us of your needs and we will do all we can to assist you in participating as much and as fully as possible in our parish activities.
